Download.com does not work.

I have tried for an hour now to download from download.com Helps files followed with no positive results. FireFox just does magic on the status line, and no file on my desktop, no pop up warning, nothing. Tried IE and Chrome as well. Every time I try to use this site it just flops. Maybe CNET should make their downloads... more... let's say... user friendly?!?
