Win7Pro pdf Right Mouse Cut & Paste & Monitor Display Issues

Hello,

I recently upgraded from 2002 XP Pro (SP3) to Win7Pro (SP1) and transferred the data from XP to 7. Installed new software - Office Home & Business 2010, Quickbooks Pro 2011 and Adobe Acrobat Pro X, and am having the following two issues:

1. Specifically when cutting and pasting .pdf files using the right mouse click, Windows shuts down indicating an error has occurred and is looking for a solution to the problem (although it never provides a suggested solution). Right mouse cut and copy does not produce this result, just cut and paste and not all the time. (Someone told me that after removing software from any computer, there are many stragglers left behind and perhaps this is what is causing the problem.)

2. When I changed the monitor visual dispay to 150% (because even with a large monitor and glasses, I still have a visual impairment), it alters the visual on one of my SQL programs, by increasing the view and print by cutting off 30% or more of the image.

Can you suggest a solution to either of these issues?

Thank you in advance!

I can't find a specific discussion about your combo but you find one or the other discussed. When cutting from the PDF (which differs from cutting and pasting a PDF file) there's a lot that must happen after the paste. And a lot to discuss about the PDF, permissions and more.

Yes, I hear you. Why should you worry about permissions, rights, apps and more.

-> Take a look in the EVENT VIEWER for clues.

And be sure there is a printer driver installed and there is a default printer.

On item 2. Many cheat and call their monitor 1200x900 (or other) to get more zoom without the side effects you noted.
