was Verbatum (and it really surprised me). I have use HQ, TDK, Maxwell, Optumum; none of them give me any problem. I usually buy the least expensive one at the time when it needed them. I think TDK is the best but they are not always on sale though.

Thanks for your feedback. I read the link below and it's actually highlighting Verbatim as a Class 1, but explains that you should steer clear of the Life and Value Series.
