Recently, I formatted my C drive to get rid of a virus destroying my computer. I reinstalled Windows 7 and everything is working perfectly, except for two things:
First, the Aero color scheme crashes my computer within fifteen minutes of using it, so I have to use Windows 7 Basic. Also, in the Personalize window, the thumbnails for all Aero schemes are just black boxes.
Second, whenever I play a video anywhere--on Youtube, in Windows Media Player, in iTunes--the computer crashes in the same way.
When it crashes, the screen freezes and the colors go all out of whack, sometimes into the negative--for instance, the Windows toolbar turns from blue to pink. This is a picture I found on Flickr; it is similar to this, but less so and more colorful.

I think it's a graphics card problem, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver a couple times, but no luck.
